We had a wonderful stay at this old home in July. The rooms are spacious and I loved sitting out on the front porch on the swing or eating breakfast there on the little table. It is a very quiet neighborhood. It is a nice walk to the falls. We also enjoyed watching the fireflies from the hot tub. Robert was very friendly and helpful. I recommend driving to Niagara-on-the-Lake for dinner out - it is not far, and the restaurants are easier to access (and nicer) than those around the immediate Falls area. Also, if you like hiking, skip the official Niagara White water walk and hike at the Niagara Glen Nature Center downstream. |

My wife and I decided to rent the Pine Tree house for our wedding/honeymoon in July of 2012. When we arrived, we were greeted by a beautiful victorian style house, with a porch you could die for!! The house was very clean and we didn't have a thing to worry about as everything was right there for us .... pop, bottled water, ice, fresh fruit, flowers, a welcoming card and on top of all this, a bottle a red wine courtesy of Robert & Leslie for our upcoming marriage. Another bonus was that the neighbours were all nice and night times were very quiet making it perfect for sleeping after a day of walking the Falls strip & Clifton Hill. We fell in love with the front porch area to have morning coffees on and to relax before bedtime. It is a very short walk to all the attractions but far way enough from all the noise as well. We absoulutely fell in love with this place and was sad to have to leave. Overall we are very happy to have rented this home on our honeymoon and will return in the future. |

We have just arrived back in the Uk after spending 10 days in the Pine tree house. It has been a very enjoyable time and the house is lovely. Robert and Lesley made us feel more than welcome and we thank them for all their help and we hope to return again someday. We have also stayed in Rainbow house in the past and that is just as lovely too. Thank you again to both robert and Lesley for welcoming us. |

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Pine Tree House. It was clean, and had everything we needed there, all we had to do was go to the grocery store! It was so nice not to have to pack linens, blankets, pillows and towels! It was all there already! We really enjoyed the hot tub and the fireplace in the bedroom was the icing on the cake during the cold month of December! There is a nice big front porch for those that go in the summer. The house is within walking distance of Clifton Hill where there are lots of restaurants and fun things for the kids to do like the Bird Kingdom and museums, and of course walking distance within the magnificent falls! It's also a short 10 minute drive to Niagara-on-the-Lake, which is a quaint little town with cute shops and wineries nearby! We loved Robert, the owner, who even being overseas, called us to check up on us and make sure all was good. When he was back in town, he came over to meet our family. Lots of personal attention and we liked that! He gave us a great deal on the house and was VERY accomodating! Thanks Robert! We'll be back in the future! |
