| Hi Robbin just got back from our trip and wanted to share a few things.
Overall we had a great time. this was our 5th time to St Martin and the first time on the french side.
I liked the fact at orient beach that everything was there and I didn't have to get in my car a lot. It was nice to have the kids exposed to another language for the week and the people. great bread and pastries.
The villa was ok. I felt the accommodations could have been nicer for the money but i knew it was the holiday week. I felt orient beach is definitely more expensive (food, beach chairs) than the dutch side as well.
The water was great as usual but there was an abundance of seaweed for the last couple of weeks. the guys on the beach did a great job of keeping it clean. We stopped by dawn beach a day because we stayed there before and the beach was a mess. seaweed piled high. so I felt good about our beach.
Went to Philipsburg for an afternoon and took the ferry from Marigot to anguila a day. coming back from anguila hit grand case for dinner (Skys the Limit outdoor grill). My kids loved it. The food is fresh and its a great deal.
My wife and I concluded we will continue traveling to St Martin. Next time I would prefer 10 days. Please keep me on your email list in the future. I would be happy to work with you again. thanks!
