A wonderful girls weekend get away!!

A wonderful location for our three day mystery quilt retreat. Lovely beds, great cooking area and lots of room for sewing. Jacuzzi tub was a great treat after long hours of sewing. You can see some pictures of our great projects on the Bit's & Pieces Keepsake Quilting facebook page.

Excellent choice for families

We were two families (four adults and two teenagers) and rented this property to be near everything related to dinosaurs - - - a perfect location.
The house was equipped with everything that one needs to be comfortable. The kitchen had all of the appliances one would have at home and then some. The entire house was clean and well cared for in every way. Our experience was totally positive.

Amazing!!

As a family of 5 hotels are not a great stay for us. This home made our vacation an absolute dream!! Having our own space, fully functional and ready to go was better than perfect. I almost expected to smell a Thanksgiving supper cooking when I walked in, it was just like being home for the holidays! The beautiful antiques, comfy furnishings and amazing location make this home a dream come true for anyone looking for a low-stress vacation…and at an amazing price!! Kathy and her husband obviously take pride in this home, there is no detail overlooked. All you need are your clothes and food and you are set for a dream stay! Thank you so much, we will definitely be back as soon as we can!!

We had a great time in your home, very quiet community, yet right in the heart of Drumheller activities. Highly recommend for families, couples looking to explore Drumheller valley.

Thank you very much

We just arrived back from Drumheller after spending 3 days there, enjoying this lovely home with its spaciousness and warm decor. Each of our children had their own bedroom and space, we had our own privacy, and we had plenty of quiet sleep - so much better than staying in a hotel room! We enjoyed watching some of their DVDs and cuddling up as a family on their sectional couch in the basement family room. We enjoyed our breakfasts together each morning in the dining area and our outdoor barbecues on the rear deck each evening. This house with its antiques and memorabilia displayed gave it character which I have not yet seen in a vacation rental. The kitchen was well equipped, I think Kathy thought of everything one would need on their vacation. We really enjoyed meeting the owners - they really went above and beyond for us - thank you very much for everything!

We HIGHLY recommend this location

Our family of four just spent three nights in this fantastic, well-equipped vacation rental. It is very conveniently located in proximity to many area attractions (The Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology, the Atlas Coal Mine, The World's Largest Dinosaur & Rotary Spray Park, the Hoodoos, etc.) yet it's location offers a place of quiet relaxation after a day of exploration -- VERY MUCH preferable to hotel lodging. The owners have equipped the home with all the necessities (well stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, BBQ, area information, etc.) as well as many, many extras. Our kids loved the theatre style popcorn maker, the assortment of DVDs, and eating breakfast at the "high" table looking out over the valley. We loved the spaciousness and privacy. We had the opportunity to meet the owners, Bruce & Kathy and their son Charles, and we must extend sincere appreciation to each of them for their warmth and hospitality. They provided very valuable information about must-see attractions nearby and in the greater surrounding area. We extend sincere appreciation to the homeowners for sharing their home, and we HIGHLY recommend this location to visitors to the Drumheller area.

The Best Ever
|
|
My family and I have visited Drumheller twice before, this vacation was the best ever, primarily due to this wonderful home that we rented. The pictures posted on this site do not do justice to the incredible view from every window. Location from Drumheller is fantastic-15 minute drive. I would highly recommend this fully equipped home over a hotel any day. The theatre style popcorn maker was a hit for movie nights, and what a nice selection of movies. I did not want to return to my own house. Sorry we didn't get a chance to meet you, Kathy, and your family-maybe next time. Thanks again.

Beautiful, Comfortable Home
|
|
On behalf of my family & friends we just want to thank You for opening up your very beautiful, well made, comfortable home to us. We felt privileged to be able to stay in such a warm and loving and organized and very clean. It is totally NO COMPARISON TO ANY 5 STAR HOTEL ACCOMMODATION! Plus meeting you - I felt an immediately sense of genuine concern. THE RED HOUSE is like the Main ATTRACTION of our Drumheller Holidays and NOT the Dinosaurs.
