| As a family of 11 (6 adults and 5 children) we rented this villa for s week over the Christmas Holiday.
The photos of the villa are 100% accurate. However, no photo can accurately portray the beautiful views from the terraces which wrap around the entire villa. What a wonderful experience to wake up every morning and see the beautiful bay.
All through the day and night breezes come through the sliding doors. It's just wonderful. This is a very comfortable and cozy home away from home. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you might need. Appliances (including washer and dryer) are top of the line.
The beds one every room are very comfortable and the bedding is lovely. There are ample towels even for the beach. On the decks are many chairs for lounging...and a table with chairs should you want a BBQ dinner from the stainless steel grill.
We felt very safe. There are gates and an excellent security system. Vernice, the housekeeper came every morning and is a lovely woman. The villa is minutes away (down a very steep and winding hill) from the Oyster Bay beach where you can rent chairs and umbrellas. In the same location are five restaurants where you can get great pizza or enjoy fine dining. The villa has an apartment on the lower level with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, great room and kitchen.
Laundry has to be done in the main house which is a small drawback. There is a lovely pool which is advertised as "heated". It is definitely NOT heated. That being the only negative, this villa is wonderful. We would return for sure. Very close to everything, including Orient Beach and Phillipsburg.
If you are faint of heart, the ride up to the villa is VERY steep. Loved Majestic Villa.
